Navigant Consulting website is just better than perfect – a great example of strong branding on the web.

Some of the examples are just too crowded with the vector elements. Or that’s just not my taste ;)

    Thanks for the inspiration.

Free webhosting service web Freehostia (http://freehostia.com/) should be there too. I had my blog there and I found their corporate web’s vectored design pretty cool.

Am I the only one to see that a lot of the designs are clones of each other?!

Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate all the work behind a list like this, but repetition is a big turn off.

apart from a few exceptional illustrators, DivVoted, The Alamo Basement – and like 2 others…..

are all the rest by the same designer? seriously, i’m kind of disappointed about the “insanely good” title – and overused frill elements that are the hype of every non-creative, creative type. very template, very boring.

Great list as there are some new ones for me!

The thing is though, there’s a few of them that are using stock vectors so they’re not really unique in that sense.

why would you call this “vector-based”? simply because the elements were created in a vector program? (although not necessarily).

do these websites scale without showing pixels?

    please use the right terminology.

@Oz : we made Such a big backgound because we had no other choice to manage multiple layers using CSS

In 2, 3 years, when network speed will be improved, 3mb would mean nothing as time to load ;)
