Just because you missed that awesome conference, doesn’t mean that you can’t still watch the lectures! This weekend we’re sharing an inspiring talk by Young artist Shilo Shiv Suleman at INK Conference. In this talk Shilo demos “Khoya,” her new storybook for iPad, which floats us through a magical world in 7 minutes of pure creativity.

Really nice, but….this have been done the last couple of decades by RPGs (role playing games) video games. For instance, in almost any modern game if you enter your name you will be adressed with that name. In other games if you play at night, some characters (vampires for exanple) will be stronger. In Zelda Phamtom Hourglass if you blow your DS you will turn off fires or if you yell monsters with big ears will get dizzy. In the same system you can use the camera and a game about ghosts will make ghost appear in your house.

If you want a good fantasy story with twists and a lot of drama try any of the Final Fantasy games or any other similar game. This concept is not new and nor the combination of elements. I dont mean to be rude but this is not TED material to tell your the truth.

But then again the digital book looks very nice.
