Just because you missed that awesome conference, doesn’t mean that you can’t still watch the lectures! This weekend we’re sharing an interesting talk by designer, Chip Kidd at TED2012. In this talk, Chip he shows the art and deep thought of his cover designs and how a book can be judged by its cover.

    Great talk. I recently had the pleasure of designing cover jackets for two thrillers. Capturing the essence of a story in a way that will appeal to your intended reader is a difficult yet enjoyable design challenge.

    I had the pleasure of going to one of his talks in New York city. He spoke about designing a cover for DC’s Superman…all I can say is, he’s a very funny guy!
