As for the person asking about full colour cards – ALL my clients buy full colour cards – and so do I. If you’re a designer, you just have to figure out how it’s done. Perhaps your neighborhood printer will help you out.

i did advertising and graphics design and now i’m doing multimedia design.

both courses will teach you pretty much the same thing for your foundation, eg: photoshop, illustrator, etc. all the basics.

with multimedia, you get to learn the basics of everything. like, actionscripting, html, how to design websites, video, basic photography, and loads more. since multimedia covers most of the design field, you pretty much get to choose what you want to focus on when you’re done with uni. more options.

with advertising + graphics design, it’s more of like, print work, photography. i feel, from my personal experience, advertising is more on the creative thinking side. whilst, multimedia is more of the execution part of it (not that it doesn’t require no creative thinking at all, of course it does.)
