Although VECTORTUTS isn’t due for launch for a little while yet, you can now start sending in tutorial contributions via our newly opened Contribute page.
As with PSDTUTS and NETTUTS, we’re looking for high quality, extensive tutorials and you’ll be compensated with $150 p/tutorial published. Sean is going to be managing this site, and he will also be looking for regular contributors so if you submit a tutorial and would like to write more, let him know.
In the meantime we’ll keep getting everything ready for a site launch very soon!

Can’t wait until the launch! :)
Great to hear.
Small question, can it also be mixed with photoshop but the biggest part done in Illustrator?
can’t wait for thisone to launch!
ViniMan,
Yah, the majority should be done in Illustrator, but if part of it is done in Photoshop that’s fine. Good question.
Also, if you want to pitch any series that’s an option as well. For example, a tutorial that post one is Illustrator design and then in post two it’s taken to Photoshop over on PSDTUTS.
this is going to be another ground breaking site :), can’t wait
Good luck with the launch of this new site! If you continue the PSDTuts and NETTuts tradition, it’ll sure be a great site!
Nice one! Looking forward for many great AI tuts :))))
This is going to be off the hook. Thanks Collis and everyone else making this possible.
I am astonished. This information is amazing. Having now Illustrator tutorials is more that what I had ever thought about. XD.
WOW… congratulations for the new sister site
I’m sure this will go on to be the best vector-tutorial site ever too :)
ok.. I’m a n00b on Illustrator. So I’m gonna especially keep an eye on this site. One question though: the tuts covered will be under Adobe Illustrator only? or other software also? I’m only using Illustrator
@BogDinamita – Illustrator will probably be the main program covered, but Fireworks and CorelDraw are big ones as well. We’re open to tutorials for other vector programs, like Inkscape or others as well. Thx.
awesome!
This is awesome! Ready for some vector tutorials :) Good luck on finding contributors!
Another *TUTS site! That’s COOL!
Now, we wait for FLATUTS ;)
David Carreira
This is good news. I’m especially looking forward to some Fireworks tutorials, showing ways to use the tools in advanced ways, rather than just the beginners tuts so often available. I’ll try to contribute some, myself.
Colis, you and your people are really my heroes!! Great sites, great designs…. and giving help and inspiration to all of us…
Thanx guys. Can`t wait for the tuts. :D
How can I contribute?
I love Illustrator and never seen a dedicated site like this.
I publish some .AI projects on my site, but not as a tutorial, only the project to inspirate the visitors mind.
Yeah! I agreed with David Carreira,we were waiting for the fla tutorials.
Another *tuts blog! Very well done and I can’t wait for it to become the champion in the field.
Congratulations.
How do I contact you guys? I already have a few tutorials written and published, but I was wondering if you’d look at them and tell me if you want more.
I’m writing one on rhythm in vector character design.
Congratulations for this new blog, and for your job on psdtuts and nettuts.
@ Gilberto:
You can contribute writing some tutorials in the tutorial submission page.
Take a look at http://vectortuts.com/write-a-tutorial/ ;)

@D. Carreira:
Thanks man, but yesterday I saw the link on the page top.
Bye!
@Admin:
I’ve posted a tutorial. But as we don’t have a place to comment something about our motivation or someting important on the post form, I want to tell that the posted tutorial is free for use, no cash needed, like a incentive to a friend.
Bye
can’t wait to see what the smart people out there in Illustrator Land are going to be able to teach us (me) with this site!
Shouldn’t this tutorial from PSD Tuts be here?
http://psdtuts.com/drawing/create-a-brilliant-vector-lighter/
@Kris,
No, that’s all photoshop in that tutorial. I think they’re leaning towards a vector base from the get-go.
I’d love to contribute. Let me get a sample tutorial ready and see how you folks like it.
Great Website. Soon (after I will finish my projects) I will start to contribute over here ;)
