the face is so ugly …..the stroke is so not natural

The face is the same as the face in the stock image so I think you have a problem with the model and not the illustration. The tut covers the new stroke settings in CS5 and has some excellent advice on how to draw with outlines so that you end up with a balanced looking comic illustration.

Sorry, but the face is nothing like the girl in the stock image. completely different expression and looks barely human to be honest. I like the rest of it though.

    • Al says:

Creative? no … Some varied widths in the line is needed to make it less amatuer. I agree the face looks bad but i think this is a tutorial about tools not making something that looks good.. that is up to you

  3. The face is just missing an indication as to where the right side of the nose is… that makes all the difference.

Thanks for your hard work though!

all of it is cool….but the nose… wtf?
