This new PLUS Tutorial is written by Guido Schetters, who is a multi-media student from the Netherlands with several years of experience working with Adobe Illlustrator. The tut is titled "How to Create a Stylish Vector Image from a Photo Reference." This new PLUS tutorial demonstrates a workflow for tracing a photograph to achieve professional quality vector illustration results, which have a sketched feeling. Advice about how to achieve this effect in a vector drawing is covered in detail in this tutorial.

The workflow demonstrated includes selecting an appropriate image, setting up the artwork, creating the linework, coloring the image, and more. With a basic understanding of the Pen Tool, the Eyedropper Tool, and the Pathfinder Palette you can create a stylized vector image that's sure to wow your clients or friends.
