I like it a lot, but I would create these types of images in Photoshop just because I’m more used to the functions of that programme. Obviously this has its uses for Illustrator lovers, that goes without saying! Looks really effective, good job. The t-shirt looks effective too, but I feel the t-shirt lacks a bit of contrast on the monsters lines and muscle shape, but perhaps it’s just not noticeable in that picture shown.

    Good tutorial though I’m sure!

Dainis Graveris – It is created as a sketch first, and then shows how to turn that sketch into a professional vector design in Illustrator.

This is a sweet design, however I’m not a fan of this type of artwork but this does inspire me to want to learn how to use illustrator more. My instructor has been nagging at me to use illustrator more in my artwork and I now see where shes coming from. Even though I’m not fond of this design, the skills and techniques that one would acquire from doing this tutorial would definitely come in handy. I myself do a lot of drawing and sketches so in essence learning how convert your drawings and sketches into a nice vector design is a good tool to have in the toolbox. I definitely will be downloading this file to practice on later with some of my own drawings. Plus membership for the win!!!!
