New Video Course: Identity Design

New Video Course: Identity Design

We’re pleased to announce our 7th in-depth course available to Tuts+ Premium members: Identity Design with Ben Gribbin. Over 18 lessons and nearly 3hrs of video training, you’ll learn all the foundational skills needed to start doing identity design work for clients.

Not a member? Not to worry! There are four public lessons available. Links after the jump.

Public Lessons

  • Introduction to Identity Design – We’re going to first look at what Identity Design is and consider what the main differences are between a logo, a brand, and an identity.
  • Understanding and Interpreting the Design Brief – We’re going to look at what is often the first step in an identity design project: the design brief. We’ll look at what a design brief does and how it effects your design process.
  • Brainstorming & Sketching – Today we are covering sketching and brainstorming. Specifically we’re going to look at brainstorming an identity design project.
  • What is a Logo? – We’re going to cover just exactly what a logo is and what makes a good logo. A logo is not a brand. So just exactly what is a logo and where does it fit in your brand?

If you’re on the fence about joining, try becoming a member for a single month, and see how it goes! We have a 30-day, no questions asked, money back promise.

    Hi Ben,

The volume is low on the ‘public lesson’ videos even though the default volume level on the video is set to maximum I have to increase my computer’s volume level to the max to hear you clearly.

That said this course has piqued my interest to subscribe for the full course.
