This looks like a very cheeky tutorial, really want to check out how you guys achieved this effect. Guess there is no other way than to bite the bullet and become a full on Tuts member…Where do I sign!

Love the concept, but since I don’t have PLUS I can’t say no more.
I’m really planning on subscribing!

I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. I tried to make it as defined as possible. I mention in the tut that the lighting and subject matter of the source photo is definitely important. I’m no photographer but I tried to get as good of an image to start with that I could. :X

I could.

It would be cool if these kind of tutorials focused on like line weight, at least as far as font is concerned, that way depth/etc about the shoe could come across better.

I really hope ya’ll don’t start making visitors feel like we’re not welcome and have to sign up for a full membership in order to learn from your tutorials. Some people can’t afford to do so.. and others don’t have credit cards..
I love this site and don’t want to lose it cuz I’m CCless.
