Well they could be much better but they are free right :)

    • Tony

Well how about you make us some better ones since you seem to think they could be much better. And if you can’t, stop complaining and take them for what they are, awesome.

I am just giving feedback buddy… why are you taking it so serious? All the designers become professional by taking care of feedbacks..

      • Tony

Um….? How am I being serious? And what feedback was asked? This is clearly just a free vector set for people to have, plain and simple, not a serious piece of work being asked to be criticized.

Anyway, i’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I’m sure your badges will blow these away.

Well I am really impressed with Tutsplus network but these vectors didn’t satisfy me… the point is not whether I can design better or not.

      • Matt

Agreed…Used. Played Out. Old School. So Last Week.

Rendered well. But not inspiring. Font Choices lend to Generic Feel.

Like to see fresh ideas, maybe more retro. Maybe more theme oriented like kids, or illustrative. Maybe we by pass the stickers and move into patches, decals, reminiscent of the rub-on ones like we use to get when we were kids, partially faded…high color gamma.

        Cool. Stay Honest!

hey dude he just said his thoughts , actually you are taking serious, be cool man, if he says bad also, stay cool and try to to do more, a designer makes himself professional by the comments from the readers. if they really hurt you, leave it, dont answer it buddy. stay cool.

Web 2.0. don’t want to argue but there is not much of a feedback if you say it could be better. I agree with tony and I think that too many people take it for granted to criticize other people’s work while their only contribution to world design community are few blank AI documents. There are many free vectors out there, but not that many that are free for commercial use without any restrictions. I think we should be thankful for any free for commercial use vectors. I’ve used many such vectors and am thankful to any designer that invested his time to save my time and money. And remember, even if you buy stock images there are so many restrictions, just check TOU of stock agencies.

So comments should be always like “great work” , “awesome” or “thanks for sharing” ? Is that what you want? It doesn’t matter whether comments are good or bad, the point is what the designer learns from others feedback…

      • margaret

i think the point is that your feedback is not constructive. You don’t explain why you dislike the work or what can be done to improve it. So how would the designer take you comment of “they could be better” to improve upon what they’ve done?
Besides i think the point of these is to be bare bones. You’re supposed to make them pop, make them your own, when you incorporate them into your designs. If they’re too specialized a design they become useful to fewer people. This stuff is from a stock site after all.
