One comment: "Readers are conditioned to look at larger and darker items as being more important than smaller lighter ones" I --- and everyone I've ever mentioned this to --- often subconsciously skip over things that are larger and darker as I skim a page looking for something. My conditioning is that they're normally the thing the page author wants me to look at (adverts, pointless callouts, etc) rather than anything I'm actually looking for. Really cool comic.
