The gradient info for the video above can be found at Step 32 and 33 of the tutorial and as follows:

  • Blue Face: #0CB0F0 at 0%, #29CAFE at 48%, #0AAEEF at 50%, #27C8FD at 76%, #0EB1F1 at 77% and #2CCDFF at 100%. Then set the Angel at 310 degrees.
  • Red Face: : #F50D0D at 0%, #F70D0D at 48%, #E41010 at 50%, and #E21010 at 100%. Then set the Angel at 310 degrees.
  • Yellow Face: #EDD70C at 0%, and #FFE108 at 100%. Then set the Angel to 15 degrees.

      Agreed, Especially in the gradient section, i feel like that should be left up to one’s own artistic sensibilities. As for showing hiding and locking things, i find it better to call out that process out-loud for those following along with audio only.

    The tutorial may be a bit long-winded in places but i wrote it that way to teach new people ways of building something from scratch without letting Illustrator do all the work for you.

    But yes, I may have over-estimated the amount of time it would take

    Every time i go to create the individual squares, 3 of the cubes merge into one. any help?
