"Start creating a half-ellipse like shape with the Pen Tool (L)" The (L) brought up the ellipse tool and not the Pen Tool, well in that step we are making an ellipse so I used that to make the tops and bottoms but once the shapes were added I was unable to continue. “Start creating a half-ellipse like shape with the Pen Tool (L)”

The (L) brought up the ellipse tool and not the Pen Tool, well in that step we are making an ellipse so I used that to make the tops and bottoms but once the shapes were added I was unable to continue.

Went back and used (P) and then had the result needed to continue.
