    Cool! I sam many images like these on microstocks, but can the opacity be used in this case?

      Most stock sites require a version 8-compatible EPS file, so no, the transparency wouldn’t be allowed. I have seen some pretty amazing illustrations that use gradient mesh and clipping masks to achieve a compatible file.
