Fun tutorial. If anyone wants to get really into spirograph vectors, you should try Excentro. Its a separate piece of software that exports to .ai.

Turner under Art | Tags: adobe, color, communication, design, graphic, illustrator, project, spirals, theory | I made a video on how to make really cool spiral designs in Adobe Illustrator. For my Senior Project, I’m letting my Graphic Communications teacher do this with her classes. The students have to create 8 spirals using the color theory. Here are what the spirals would look like. The video goes with the first spiral below, the second spiral, and many more, can be found at this website.
Klaudia K - if you want to get this window in which you can specify exact dimensions of star/square/circle/whatever just CLICK on artboard, don't CLICK & DRAG, just single click with left mouse button.

For your second problem try FILL COLOR - turn it to none. If you don't know how where to find this switch check this out:

I can not even make the star because I can not find that little window where you can put how many points you want! and the same with the ellipse and the rest, how can I see them?
and besides when I tried the first one, I could manage to draw the rest, but when I make a blick out of the draw, I can not see the inner circle made by the shapes, like if each elipse had a white background that covers the background of the one bellow, then I can not see any nice sphirograph effect! please help!!!
