      Hi Lionel,

      Thanks for your comment.

      For your concern about the grain effect, I see it was already answered in the thread you listed.

      If you try a vector effect(i.e. the Illustrator effects), say pucker and bloat, you’ll see that the corners aren’t affected like with your grain effect.

      You can also try playing with Effects>Document Raster Effects Settings.

      Make sure you have an object selected that has an effect applied.
