    Thanks for the video, Sean – some great tips in there. The multiple swatches at once is genius! And that aside, it was worth watching just for the swatch replacement technique that you threw in there. I know I’m going to be using that a LOT!

    Great tip. As well as being able to replace the swatch, you can also double click on it to change the colour (this way you an preview the new colour on your artwork).

    Hi i’m fairly new to using Ai, and i can’t seem to make my live paint work…
    says i can’t fill this area because its not a live selection?
    any help./.?
    pretty much copied EXACTLY what you did Sean, only with a different image that i drew.

      So, you need to select the shape you want to color with the selection tool, click the paint bucket and it should turn the shape into a live paint shape. If this is being tricky, Select the object and go to Object > Live Paint > Make. I hope this helps :)
